Dust Jacket

We went to eslite on Sunday in order to photograph our recent project - Dust Jacket.
Taking pictures isn't allowed in eslite.
But with our bravery and passions of photography, we didn't think to must.
Let it go and go ahead.
Some of us was warned by the salesclerk. It was so adventurous!
It really took us a lot of energy to photograph our dust jacket!

Print English Letters

We printed our English letters.

It's a printing skill called linocut.

First, we carved our letters on the rubber.
Second, put ink on it.
Third, put a paper on it and use roller to roll it.
Finally, your letter comes out like this!

Printing Class

This is our printing class.
Each studio has to create a pattern and carve it on the wood and rubber.
This is what our studio created.
It's a goldfish.
There are some detailings in this pattern, so we need to be very patient when we carve.
Besides this project of studio, we also carve English letters.
Today's mission is to print what our studio created.
We put ink on our linocut and wood, and sent them to the printing machine.
Finally, our goldfish appears on the paper!
We learned how to print in this class and really enjoy it.
We can't wait the next week!
